Critical Trauma Therapy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is essential to maintaining the high quality of care we provide to our clients by ensuring administrative excellence behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Format clinical documents, perform thorough spell checking, and process document releases according to HIPAA guidelines
- Communication Management: Manage email and fax communications, and serve as a point of contact for clients.
- Intake Support: Provide coverage for client intake processes and float as needed to support the clinical team during busy periods
- Records Management: Process clinical notes and handle confidential records release according to compliance standards
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) cases and related documentation. Must be able to utilize HCAI.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and document formatting skills
- Self-Management: Ability to self-audit work for quality and accuracy with minimal supervision
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Technology Proficiency: Comfort working with various digital platforms, electronic health records systems, and standard office software including Adobe, Microsoft Word
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment:
- In Person: Work from our beautiful clinic within the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital
- Equipment: Must have reliable high-speed internet and a private, secure workspace for handling confidential information
- Team Collaboration: Regular virtual meetings with the clinical and administrative teams
