Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. The Painter will contribute to the production of durable, aesthetically appealing products while maintaining a safe work environment.
Also seeking people with no experience who are willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Operate machinery such as cranes and forklifts when necessary for material handling
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Assist with assembly and machining processes as needed within the manufacturing environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
