Someone with strong accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals - and the confidence to own a client relationship from day one.
You'll manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, doing the full-cycle work yourself with one bookkeeper supporting you. You own the outcome. Clean books, informed clients, nothing falling through the cracks.
YOU'RE A FIT IF
- You know accounting and bookkeeping cold - bank recs, month-end close, working papers, accrual fundamentals (deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, fixed assets)
- You know QBO and Xero really well
- You handle sales tax (GST, HST) end-to-end, on time, every time
- You're comfortable with fintech: setting up integrations, AP tools like Plooto or Ramp, Stripe, Dext - you figure things out
- You can explain a P&L or aging report to a business owner in plain language, on a call, by yourself
- Your written communication is clear and prompt
- You use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to work smarter - offloading the repetitive so you can focus on the judgment calls
- You know Google Workspace

- Client calls make you uncomfortable
- You're not yet sharp in QBO or Xero

CPA designation.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
