Overview
We at Surround Sound Music are looking for A Mobile DJ Male or Female to join our music team for the 2026 season The ideal candidate must have a passion for music, excellent technical & communication skills, able to haul equipment, set up and tear down - plus transport the gear in a safe manner,
Duties
- Curate and mix music playlists tailored to event themes and client preferences
- Operate DJ equipment, sound systems, and lighting setups efficiently and safely
- Set up, test, and break down audio-visual equipment at multiple venues
- Interact professionally with clients to understand their expectations and customize performances accordingly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and punctuality for all scheduled events
- Adapt to different environments and troubleshoot technical issues promptly during performances
- Promote a positive atmosphere by engaging with guests and encouraging participation
- Stay updated on current music trends and new technology to enhance performances
Qualifications
Must be: Available most weekends... Friday and or Saturdays
trusting, bondable, reliable, honest hardworking dependable!
- Strong knowledge of music genres, mixing techniques, and sound equipment operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Valid class 5 driver’s license in a must, including having your own vehicle, van truck suv
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with lighting design, event planning, or audio engineering
