We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment plans based on their preferences and medical history.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
- Document client sessions accurately, including treatment details and any relevant observations for future reference.
Requirements
- Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to better understand clients’ health conditions.
- Ability to create personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
