OVERVIEW
The Press Service Coordinator supports press operators to enable safe, efficient, and high-quality printing operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role is accountable for the lifecycle of press materials—from accurate preparation and staging through post-production cleaning and organized storage—and for sustaining a clean, orderly, and hazard-controlled work area. Performance in this role directly affects production uptime, waste/scrap, asset longevity through disciplined execution of standard work, compliance with Company policies/procedure and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
DUTIES
1. PRODUCTION MATERIAL READINESS & ACCURACY (Weighting 35%)

2. POST-PRODUCTION CARE & STORAGE (Weighting 25%)

- Work collaboratively with the production team to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety
4. INVENTORY CONTROL & DATA ADMINISTRATION (Weighting 20%)
- Record all issues and returns of plates and dies and any location changes in real time—or no later than the end of the task—within the applicable logs or ERP module, including job number, asset identifier, and timestamp.
- Replace damaged or missing labels and ensure that identifiers and barcodes remain legible and scannable, requesting reprints as required.
- Participate in month-end physical counts for plates, dies, and inks as assigned, assist in reconciling variances, and propose corrective actions such as re-indexing locations, updating signage, or adjusting handling practices.
- Execute the approved “find-it” protocol when an asset is not found in its recorded location, document the temporary location if the item is recovered, and notify the Supervisor so that records can be corrected and systemic issues addressed.
