JOB POSTING
Position Title: Senior Mountain Keepers – Three (3) Seasonal Positions (6-8 weeks of employment)
Position Description: Under the general direction of the Culture and Recreation Coordinator, the Mountain Keepers assist in the cultural aspect as well as grounds upkeep of Mount McKay-Anemki Wajiw.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing lawn/grass cutting, utilizing the lawn mower, grounds cleanup, gathering plants, medicines and birch bark
- Beautifying the mountain, scenic lookout area, pow wow grounds and its building and attractions
- Assisting with cultural as well as summer events on Mount McKay- Anemki Wajiw
- Preforms all duties in a safe and efficient manner (requiring safety helmet, safety vest, safety gloves, steel-toed boots- provided by FWFN)
Wage Rate: $18.15/hr.
