Are you passionate about tea and looking to join a small, dedicated team that values quality, care, and craftsmanship? We’re hiring for a unique position at our tea shop in Courtenay, BC.
Shipper/Receiver & Tea Shop Attendant
Schedule: 4 days per week, 8 hours/day, including break
Location: Warehouse & Tea Shop – Courtenay
Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 to start, based on experience
Benefits: Health benefits available after a 3-month probation period
This hybrid role combines order fulfillment and retail support. You’ll be packing and shipping online wholesale and retail orders, managing inventory, and assisting customers in our tea shop. The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- Able to safely lift up to 25 kg
- Strong attention to detail for packing and labeling
- Proven ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Computer-savvy – comfortable using:
- Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Square POS
- Shopify
- Online shipping platforms (e.g., Canada Post, ClickShip, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain & report inventory
- Previous experience with tea is a bonus
