Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server / Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests while maintaining food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and sanitation of work areas as needed.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
