Integrated Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and safety focused Class 3 Garbage Truck Driver based out of Miramichi, NB. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing organization in the waste and recycling industry, operating modern equipment on residential collection routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 3 rear load refuse vehicle in a safe and efficient manner on assigned collection routes
- Complete daily assigned routes within scheduled timelines while maintaining service standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding schedules, route updates, and instructions
- Load and handle waste materials safely in varying traffic and weather conditions
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times on the job site and on the road
- Complete accurate end-of-day paperwork and driver check-ins
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
- Report any incidents, infractions, or safety concerns to supervisor immediately
- Work collaboratively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to ensure efficient operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with Air Brake endorsement in good standing required
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Previous experience in commercial driving preferred
- Experience in waste, recycling, or residential collection is considered an asset
- Strong awareness of road safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to follow schedules and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions from dispatch and supervisors
- Physically capable of lifting 20–75 lbs regularly
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- Working safely is a condition of employment
Requirements
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned reporting location
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures

- Pay: $23.00/hour
- Full-time position
- Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday (early morning start times)
- Overtime and schedule variations as required based on operational needs
