Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other construction tools efficiently and safely
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, piping systems, and gas lines
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed for project records
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter certification required
- Proven experience in plumbing, gas fitting, or related construction fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge including Boiler systems, maintenance procedures, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
