Overview
The Senior Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding Kekuli Bay Cabinetry’s market presence, and building a strong pipeline of new and repeat clients. A core part of this role is leading and managing a team of experienced sales professionals and designers — setting direction, coaching for performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture. This role is entirely sales-focused and does not include design, drafting, or technical project responsibilities. Working alongside the Kitchen Designer(s) and production team, the Manager ensures a seamless client experience from first contact through to project handoff.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced sales professionals and designers — setting targets, coaching on deal strategy and technique, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and initial consultation through to contract signing
- Prepare and present cabinetry quotations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project timelines while maintaining strong profit margins
- Track and report on all sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM software
Business Development & Market Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities including builders, contractors, developers, and homeowners
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, referral partners, and trade professionals
- Represent Kekuli Bay Cabinetry at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the BC cabinetry market
- Develop strategic partnerships to expand the company’s reach and brand visibility
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
- Hand off sold projects to the design and production teams with clear documentation of client requirements and expectations
- Coordinate with the Kitchen Designer to ensure client vision is accurately communicated
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the design team, production, and installation departments to ensure project feasibility and timelines
- Provide market feedback to leadership regarding customer needs, product opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional strategies
- Participate in team meetings and company planning sessions
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development, or account management
- Proven track record of managing sales teams and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in residential cabinetry, construction, renovation, or building materials industry strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP software (e.g., Salesforce, Ideally Innergy or similar)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within BC as needed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Interpersonal and managerial skills are essential to this role: proven ability to lead and develop a team, excellent communication and relationship-building.

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
