PARTS CLERK 4-3 NIGHT SHIFT

Skotidakis was established 47 years ago and has grown to become a Canadian leader in dairy products. We are currently seeking a Parts Clerk to join our welcoming and supportive team.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Parts Clerk performs warehousing, inventory control and materials management of parts.
- Provides the materials for the needs and requirements of the Maintenance, and internal customers.
- The Parts Clerk will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Fulfill requests from Maintenance and Millwrights for material needs.
- Properly store materials in appropriate areas and update records.
- Retrieve and receive goods supplied for internal department purchase orders.
- Distribute received goods to stock, planned kits, projects or immediate use as required.
- Prepare outgoing materials for shipment (returns or outside repair orders).
- Prepare documents for possible warranty claims.
- Perform other responsibilities, tasks and/or duties as per the request of the Maintenance Manager
SKILLS
- Ability to lift heavy objects occasionally (up to 20kg).
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Attention to details. Oral and written communication skills.
- Task management skills.
- Understanding of inventory and materials handling procedures.
- Awareness of safety and security measures and policies in place to prevent injuries.
- Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage.
- Ability to work well with others and participate as a valued member of the Maintenance Business Unit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Parts Clerk or retail stocking shelves or warehousing experience is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Desire to work in a organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and place mechanical spare parts and materials that may weigh up to 20kg.
- Ability to work full-time on Nifght Shift shift 07:00 P.M.-7:00 A.M
- Attention to detail and good task management skills. Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
