Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
Morning shift - 7 am to 4 pm
pay 18$-19$
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning and sanitation procedures as needed
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when replenishments are required
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Good organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
