Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life. This role involves providing guidance, support, and supervision to clients within a community setting. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a caring attitude, and supervisory experience to effectively engage with diverse populations and promote positive outcomes.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one support to clients, assisting with all activities of daily living and life skills development.
- Supervise group activities and community programs to ensure safety and engagement.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, including healthcare, housing, and employment services.
- Develop individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and team members.
- Monitor client progress and document interactions.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other service providers to coordinate care.
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with organizational policies during all activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience is preferred,but not required. There is on the job training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and community partners.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to supporting individuals facing diverse challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the community environment.
- Relevant educational background or experience in social work, human services, health care or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
