About the Role
This is a hands-on, physically active role responsible for maintaining a large-format retail showroom, offices, warehouse and support areas to a high standard.
This is not a light-duty cleaning position. The role involves consistent movement, repetitive tasks, and maintaining pace throughout the full shift. You will work independently, following structured cleaning systems and schedules to ensure the store is always presentation-ready.
Your work directly impacts the customer experience and the overall appearance of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain a large retail showroom, offices, warehouse areas, and entrances
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors across multiple zones daily
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment (including floor scrubbers)
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, and high-touch surfaces
- Dust and wipe down furniture displays, fixtures, glass, and mirrors
- Remove garbage and maintain waste areas throughout the building
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists and logs
- Maintain exterior entrances (litter pickup, basic upkeep)
- Support showroom upkeep, including moving light furniture and accessories as needed
- Assist with additional tasks during sales events or store setup
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including WHMIS standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in commercial, retail, or large-scale cleaning environments
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical work for an entire shift
- Ability to work independently and stay on task without supervision
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a steady work pace
- Experience with floor cleaning equipment is an asset
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- On your feet and moving for the majority of the shift
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and walking
- Ability to lift 30 lbs independently and up to 60 lbs with assistance
- Able to handle repetitive tasks and sustained physical effort daily

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
