Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients and leftovers
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illnesses
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations and food industry standards is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques is essential
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, and working in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Prior kitchen experience in a restaurant setting will help ensure a smooth transition into the role
