About the Role- Dishwasher
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher is to wash and put away all dishes, pots, and cutlery from guest and staff meal services. Proper sweep and mop the kitchen after each shift and to put kitchen deliveries away when needed.
Shifts are 8am - 1:30, 8am - 4pm and 5pm - 10pm. You may work a mixture of both shifts. Hours are a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Clean dishes / pots / utensils / silverware to resort standards and stock in back and in kitchen prior to and after each meal.
- The opening and closing of the dishwasher and pot sinks.
- To ensure the floor is kept clean and free of water.
- To ensure all food particles and waste is removed from dishwasher/sinks.
- Sweeping and mopping of Kitchen. (Moving items to clean underneath them, cleaning mop sink when finished mopping)
- Cleaning of the staff dining room.
- Transport food orders to storage in basement when needed.
- To keep a watchful eye on dish inventory.
