Position Overview
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales efforts, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role oversees group, corporate, and event sales, while delivering excellent client service and maximizing guest room occupancy and banquet revenue.
A key focus of this position is increasing hotel exposure through sales calls, site tours, networking, and new-business prospecting. With the hotel having undergone extensive renovations in recent years, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in promoting these upgrades and telling the story of the refreshed guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve room, group, and banquet revenue goals.
- Increase hotel exposure through proactive outreach, including sales calls, site tours, networking, and prospecting new business.
- Identify and secure new business while maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Negotiate rates, terms, and agreements in line with hotel revenue management strategies.
- Collaborate with revenue management and marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry functions.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of group and event business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven, highly organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to attend client functions, networking events, and occasional travel.
Bonus Qualifications: (not mandatory)
- Experience in hotel sales, preferably in a Sales Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency with hotel systems (Opera, Delphi, or similar)
- Knowledge of hospitality sales processes, including corporate, group, and event business
- Social Media experience

Pay: $50,000.00-$50,001.00 per year
