Steel Built Systems Ltd. is looking for a reliable person for a steel stud framing machine operator, assembler and forklift/material handling role.
Work includes:
- Operating a steel roll-forming machine
- Basic machine setup and production support
- Using a computer/laptop for simple machine-related work
- Forklift operation and material handling
- Loading/unloading material
- Bundling, labelling and organizing finished steel framing components
- Keeping the shop clean, safe and organized
Requirements:
- Forklift experience preferred
- Forklift licence/certification is an asset
- Warehouse, machine, tool, metal, fabrication, CNC or roll-forming experience is an asset
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Must be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend and do material handling during the shift
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs / 23 kg occasionally
- Heavy material must be moved by forklift, lifting equipment or team lifting
- Must wear required PPE and follow company safety procedures
- Must not operate forklift or machinery unless trained and authorized
