Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment. The position offers flexible hours suitable for those looking to contribute to a professional setting through efficient custodial work. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks in various areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting light loads
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude toward work responsibilities
