We will be participating in the Law Society of Alberta’s 2026 articling student recruitment period.
We take the education and training of our articling students very seriously. We provide our students with the necessary tools, skills, and mentorship to enable them to grow to become future associates and partners with the firm.
Our articling program is designed to expose you to a broad variety of practice areas and assist you in acquiring the skills and confidence you need to handle complex legal matters. Our “open door” policy means that you will receive guidance and advice from all partners and associates when you need it.
We welcome you to contact our current students and recently hired associates to find out more information about the articling program and Emery Jamieson LLP in general. Please refer to our website for further contact information.
We offer salaries and benefits to our articling students that are comparable to other Edmonton firms of like size. In addition, all Law Society of Alberta, CPLED, and insurance fees are paid for by our firm. We also offer a flexible start date, a well-organized orientation period intended to ease you into practice, and access to staff and technological resources.
