Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental practitioners, and ensure smooth clinic operations. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Tracker and iTero. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery and implants
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take digital dental radiographs and intraoral images
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker software system
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
- Manage inventory of dental supplies
- Assist with the fabrication of dental appliances (sports guards, essix retainers) and other laboratory procedures as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with certification at Level II or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge and experience with Tracker dental software
- Experience working in general dentistry preferred
- Experience with iTero digital scanner
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Strong understanding of dental assisting best practices and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members
