Traffic Control Person - $17.50 -$19.50/hour
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the setup of temporary workplaces
- Direct traffic at temporary workplaces
- Warning workers of impending danger
Training & Requirements:
- Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
- Steel-toe boots
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Temporary Workplace Signer - $19.50-21.50/hour
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring temporary workplace are signed in accordance with provincial requirements
- Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing
- Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
- Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
- Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
- Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces
Training & Requirements:
- Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
- Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Steel-to boots
At this time, priority will be given to those who are willing to be assigned the task of driving for current TWS. Must have a valid NS license and clean abstract.
