### About the Event
Be part of the energy at the Calgary Stampede! We're hosting two major outdoor music festivals during Stampede week — AfroSwitch (July 10) and Stampede Mela (July 11) — each expecting 5,000–10,000 attendees. We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead all stage, sound, and lighting operations.
### Responsibilities
- Manage all stage production including sound, lighting, and AV systems
- Coordinate artist set times, stage changeovers, and technical requirements
- Oversee stage build and technical setup (July 8–9)
- Work directly with artists' teams to fulfill technical riders
- Manage production crew and delegate tasks to production assistant
- Ensure all equipment is operational and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Coordinate with artist coordinator on scheduling and logistics
- Oversee stage tear-down on July 12
### Requirements
- 2+ years experience in live event production or concert staging
- Working knowledge of professional sound systems, lighting rigs, and stage management
- Ability to manage fast-paced stage changeovers under time pressure
- Must be 18+
- Experience with outdoor festival production strongly preferred
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
