Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Glass Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, mechanical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience or mechanic background is highly valued, along with familiarity with hand tools and power tools. The Auto Glass Technician plays a vital role in maintaining vehicle safety standards and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Remove damaged or broken auto glass using appropriate tools and techniques
- Install new windshields, side windows, and rear glass according to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure proper sealing and fitting of all glass components to prevent leaks or wind noise
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during installations
- Inspect vehicles for additional damages or issues related to the glass replacement process
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards throughout all procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment after each job
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service details
Experience
