MCG Careers, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Marketing Specialist on behalf of our employer partner (in the Winning Edge-Workplace Training Program), with a head office in Calgary and branches across Canada, this company offers a wide range of accounting services at competitive rates to fast-growing companies in Canada. Their team provides a one-stop solution on Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Assurance, Accounting, Taxation and Internal Controls advisory.
They are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join their Calgary office. The successful candidate will support the promotion of our services through social media, website content, digital campaigns, paid advertising, and marketing materials. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and brand development.
Relevant Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media, or content creation
- Experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, websites, and digital campaigns
- Basic understanding of SMM, paid ads, targeting, SEO, and online visibility
- Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google tools, MS Office, or similar platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field would be an asset
- Eligible to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media posts, reels, stories, and other marketing content Support website updates and digital marketing campaigns
- Assist with SMM strategy, paid ads, targeting, and performance tracking
- Prepare marketing materials, brochures, newsletters, and promotional content Maintain consistent branding across all marketing channels
- Monitor social media engagement and suggest ideas to improve visibility
- Support internal and external communications, events, and company updates
- Provide regular updates to management on marketing activities
Additional Assets
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, or LinkedIn campaigns
- Basic photography, video editing, or graphic design skills
- Experience in professional services, accounting, consulting, or office services

To qualify for this opportunity through the Winning Edge Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must be unemployed at the time of intake.
- Ready, willing, and able to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week).
- Not a current student or enrolled in any program or school.
