Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related tasks, supporting renovation and restoration projects, and working alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. Prior experience in masonry, concrete finishing, or related fields is highly desirable. This position offers opportunities for hands-on learning and career growth within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and durable surfaces
- Support rebar installation and placement according to project schematics and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, flooring installation, and structural restoration
- Read schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements
- Conduct demolition or removal of existing structures as needed for renovation projects
- Support welding, carpentry, and other trades involved in construction or renovation work
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment to maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Requirements
- Proven experience or familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, or related construction tasks
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of heavy equipment and power tools
- Skills in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, welding, or flooring installation are a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate project execution
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding conditions
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and renovation processes is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with concrete finishing or working with hand tools is preferred
Pay: $20.00 per hour
