We're looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and creative Summer Camp Leader to lead our summer program for children ages 6–12. This is more than just a summer job—it's an opportunity to create lasting memories, inspire confidence, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children.
Preference will be given to candidates with ECEA or ECE certification, although a minimum Responsible Adult Certificate is required.
What You'll Do
- Lead exciting daily activities, games, crafts, and themed experiences
- Plan engaging programs that keep children active, curious, and having fun
- Organize outdoor adventures, nature exploration, and local outings
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and friendship-building
- Supervise campers and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- Communicate positively with families and fellow team members
- Assist with daily camp setup, organization, and cleanup
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Responsible Adult Certificate
- Preference given to ECE Assistants (ECEA) and Early Childhood Educators (ECE)
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A positive, reliable, and energetic attitude
- Someone who can think on their feet and bring fresh ideas to camp each day
- First Aid certification is an asset
