Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator with Infant/Toddler Specialization to join our team. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong skills, and be committed to promoting inclusive education for all children.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Provide attentive care to meet the individual needs of each child in the classroom.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Support children with diverse needs, ensuring they receive appropriate care and educational support.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education best practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to create engaging learning environments.
- Passion for teaching and supporting young children's development.
- Certification or training in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to providing quality early childhood education.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
