Balson Pest Control & Wildlife Solutions is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Professional to oversee and manage the financial operations of our growing business. This is an in-office position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable financial insight to support business operations.
We are looking for someone with extensive bookkeeping and accounting experience who can ensure our financial systems remain organized, accurate and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements
- Work with our accountant during year-end procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping
- Experience with financial reporting and business financial management
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
