We are seeking a professional, reliable, and service-oriented Front Desk / Door Person to join the team of a luxury high-rise condominium located on prestigious Wellington Crescent in Winnipeg. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional residential experience, combining concierge-style front desk responsibilities with valet parking duties in a heated indoor parkade.
Position Overview
As the first point of contact for residents and guests, you will provide a high level of customer service, support building security operations, and ensure smooth daily activity within the lobby and vehicle areas. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, attentive, and comfortable working in a high-end residential environment.
Key Responsibilities
Resident & Guest Services
- Warmly greet residents and visitors as they enter or exit the building, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
- Announce guest arrivals to residents and ensure secure access to the building.
- Notify residents of delivered packages and assist in facilitating pickups.
- Provide assistance to residents with luggage, groceries, deliveries, personal items, or other needs as they arrive or depart.
Valet & Vehicle Management
- Park, retrieve, and manage resident vehicles in the heated indoor parkade with the utmost care and attention.
- Maintain safe and efficient traffic flow within the parking areas.
- Ensure all valet procedures are followed responsibly and respectfully.
Security & Monitoring
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or building issues.
- Maintain awareness of all building entrances, lobby activity, and security protocols.
- Assist with enforcing condominium security measures.
Administrative & Front Desk Duties
- Complete daily paperwork, logs, reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional front desk and lobby environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with building management, residents, and service providers as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 (or higher) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bondable and able to pass required security or background checks.
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including luxury makes and models.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and efficient in a dynamic residential setting.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
