Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Studio + Events Operations Director to lead the planning, execution, and management of our studio and event spaces. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational, communication, and guest service skills. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate event logistics, and ensure an outstanding experience for clients and guests. A background in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel industries is highly desirable, along with expertise in marketing, upselling, and negotiation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest experience while managing a diverse team and operational functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the studio and event spaces to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality guest experiences
- Coordinate event planning from inception to execution, including logistics, setup, and breakdown
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote studio services and special events
- Manage guest services to ensure client satisfaction through personalized attention and exceptional hospitality
- Upsell additional services or packages to maximize revenue opportunities
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms
- Lead and supervise staff, providing training on customer service standards, organizational procedures and systems
- Maintain budgets for events and operations, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and positive reviews
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns across digital platforms
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management, restaurant operations, or hotel industry preferred
- Strong background in event planning or studio management highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills in guest services, customer relations, and hospitality best practices
- Experience in marketing strategies including upselling techniques and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management abilities with capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills in French and English for effective team leadership and client interactions
- Organizational skills necessary for coordinating complex events and managing operational workflows
