Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter/Construction Professional to join our team. This role involves working on diverse construction projects, utilizing a broad range of skills including carpentry, drywall, siding, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, with the ability to read blueprints, operate power tools, and perform heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building and renovation projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise project execution
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work with attention to safety and quality standards
- Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks
- Conduct restoration work including surface repairs and refinishing projects
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks as needed, supporting overall project completion
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately according to project specifications
- Perform caulking, painting, and finishing work to achieve desired aesthetic results
- Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols
- Contribute to construction estimating activities by providing accurate material and labor assessments
- Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout each project phase
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for diverse construction tasks
- Extensive experience with concrete forming, drywall, framing, siding, and tile laying
- Skilled in cabinetry installation and woodworking techniques
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites
- Knowledge of rebar installation, caulking, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, and general handyman skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance
