Evening Cove Developments Ltd. (ECD) is looking for multiple skilled Carpenters - both Red Seal certified and non-certified - to join our construction team.
Rotation (21 days on / 7 days off)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality carpentry work, primarily for residential construction projects, ensuring results meet or exceed industry standards.
- Read, interpret, and implement construction plans and blueprints, ensuring layouts align with building codes and site conditions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently, following ECD’s stringent safety protocols.
- Execute tasks including forming, concrete placing, framing, finishing, installation. All aspects of renovating residential interior and exterior homes.
- Collaborate with a diverse team, promoting skill growth and a positive work environment.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to overcome construction challenges, adapting to site conditions and ensuring project success.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, demonstrating leadership in workplace safety and efficiency.
- Exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, contributing to the smooth and successful completion of each project.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Carpenter certificate or Red Seal certification preferred, but experienced non-certified carpenters are also encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in residential construction (remote or rural project experience is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a dedication to maintaining quality and safety.
- A commitment to safe work practices and a high standard of craftsmanship.
