Job Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality menu items while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory, prep, and kitchen closing duties
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook experience required
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
