Blok Canada has been awarded the Ontario Parks contract to demolish and replace two comfort stations at Arrowhead Provincial Park (East River and Roe campgrounds). Each building is ~175 m² masonry construction with full Infiltrator ATL septic systems, new transformers, emergency generators, and complete site servicing.
The role
We're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to run day-to-day construction at Arrowhead from July 2026 through February 2027, with possible 2-month extension to project completion. You'll be Blok Canada's senior on-site representative — running the schedule, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and quality, and liaising with the Contract Administrator and Ontario Parks.
What you'll do
- Run daily site operations across two sites (East River starts July; Roe starts after Oct 12)
- Coordinate all trades: excavation, septic, masonry, mechanical, electrical, finishes
- Manage subcontractor scope, sequence, quality, and progress
- Run weekly site coordination meetings and daily toolbox talks
- Maintain daily logs, photo records, RFIs, and weekly progress reports
- Coordinate inspections with the Contract Administrator and building/septic inspectors
- Enforce Blok Canada's safety program per OHSA and Reg 213/91
- Plan and execute cold-weather work at Roe (Nov-Feb) — frost protection, snow clearing

Required:
- 5+ years as Site Supervisor or Site Superintendent on commercial or institutional projects
- Experience supervising masonry-construction buildings, full mechanical/electrical scopes
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- OHSA familiarity; Working at Heights, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong written English — daily logs, RFIs, inspector coordination
- Comfortable reading mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license
- Available Monday-Friday on site at Arrowhead Provincial Park
Strongly preferred:
- Experience on Ontario Parks, MNRF, or other public-sector projects

- BCIN designation (any qualification — On-Site Sewage System Installer a big asset)
- Gold Seal Certified or equivalent
- Winter construction experience
