Sales Associate
Mobler Furniture is looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our team at our new Vancouver showroom.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is motivated to generate sales while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will help customers find furniture that suits their needs, style, and budget while contributing to the overall success of the showroom.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers in selecting furniture that meets their needs and budget
- Learn product features, materials, and specifications
- Build customer relationships and help convert showroom traffic into sales
- Process sales transactions and customer orders accurately
- Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email
- Follow up with customers when required
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure the showroom is clean and well-presented
- Work as part of a team to achieve sales goals
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Furniture sales experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Weekend availability required
Compensation
- Starting wage of $20.00 + per hour
- Higher starting wage may be available based on experience
