Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Upsell retail products to clients to support their hair care routines and enhance their salon experience.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products to provide innovative services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices in a salon setting.
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus.
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations.
- A friendly attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
