IS2 is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on behalf of our client. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Location: Mississauga, ON (Heartland Town Centre area)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (18-Month Maternity Leave Coverage with potential extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Process and enter supplier invoices
- Assist with cheque runs and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Review expense reports and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate records and meet payment deadlines
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience using accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
