Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues for service technicians.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customers understand their options.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, managing the flow of vehicles through the service department.
- Sell needed services or maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding vehicle status, repair timelines, and costs.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating customer records and processing paperwork.
- Build strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business and positive reviews.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic administrative tasks.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
