Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging course outline, lesson plans that promote language development and literacy skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Provide instruction in English language arts, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Familiarity with special education or preschool education is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to develop age-appropriate instructional materials and activities
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for promoting language development and literacy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
