Community Support Services Supervisor (2 positions)
We are presently accepting applications from qualified individuals to fill the following positions:
Start Date: ASAP
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/week
Salary Range: $35-$40.95/hour
We are seeking two experienced and collaborative leaders to join our Community Support Services (CSS) team. The Supervisor, Community Support Services provides operational leadership and direct supervision to an interdisciplinary team delivering community mental health and addiction services, including case management, peer support, group programming, intake, and the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) program.
This role is responsible for supporting high-quality, recovery-oriented, person- and family-centred care while fostering a psychologically healthy, equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive workplace. The Supervisor works closely with staff, community partners, and leadership to advance quality improvement, client safety, accessibility, and service excellence.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and professional development to Community Support Services staff.

Oversee daily program operations, staffing, scheduling, service delivery, and related administrative functions.

Monitor caseloads, waitlists, client flow, and access to ensure equitable and timely services.

Lead quality improvement initiatives and support Accreditation Canada standards and organizational priorities.

Administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), including addressing employee and labour relations matters, participating in grievance management and resolution, etc.

Ensure compliance with legislative, professional, privacy, and organizational requirements.

Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Collaborate with hospitals, primary care, Ontario Health Teams, and community partners to strengthen integrated care.

Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation (additional compensation provided).
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Child and Youth Care, or another relevant regulated health or human services profession.

Master's degree is considered an asset.

Minimum five years of progressive experience in community mental health and/or addictions services.

Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience.
