As a Content Restoration Technician, you are responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for fire, smoke, mold, and water mitigation. You are accountable for ensuring adherence to on-site company procedures, communicating clearly and precisely, displaying excellent customer service, and representing Restoration Aid in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in contents cleaning , textiles cleaning , commercial laundry , art Restoration, Electronics Restoration are asset.
- Performing restoration activities, cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack-out and storage and other specialized cleaning.
- Travelling with team to site for pick up
- Performing data entry to company’s software using ipad
- Setting up site protection, like the use of protective shoe covers and floor mats.
- Follow safety policies and procedures for automated production equipment in accordance with all corporate requirement
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Assess damage on-site and initiate mitigation plan
- Placement and monitoring of drying equipment around the site
- Working alongside contractors, subcontractors and trades
- Conduct moisture readings
- Loading and unloading of equipment from company trucks
- Maintenance of company vehicles, tools, equipment, and facilities.
- An extremely reliable Team player, who can also work efficiently independently with minimal supervision
- Able to list and handle heavy material (ocassinally)
- Ability to crisis manage, and problem solve effectively
- Detailed oriented with ability to multitask, prioritize and use initiative in a fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Driver’s License is an Asset not mandatory

Job Location:
Office and ware house in Trenton but need to travel to Peterborough, Belleville, Kingston and near by areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
