Job description:
Brass Inc. is looking for a licensed mechanic (310T and/or 310S) for our Port Perry Shop. This is a rewarding full-time, permanent day shift position, with the opportunity to learn and advance your skillset in a progressive environment of diversely trained professionals & unique equipment.
Reporting to the Shop manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, trailers, automotive and construction equipment. We pride ourselves on a headlight to tail light approach where we can see a project come to completion from the ground up while adopting a teamwork mentality to maintain the Brass Standard throughout our fleet.

As a 310T / 310S mechanic your duties may include:
· Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy trucks, equipment and light/medium duty vehicles
· Perform Drive On safety inspections
· Effectively track and communicate work being performed and make recommendations for preventative service.
· Test repaired equipment for proper performance and conformity to safety standards
· Perform routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment
· Hard working with the capability and willingness to take initiative to take on other tasks as they arise
What you bring to Brass:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience
· 310T and or 310S license
· Valid “G” driver’s license with clean abstract (A, D, Z considered an asset)
· Positive attitude, safety-first mindset, and a team-oriented approach
· Desire to learn and grow your skillset
· Available for occasional on-call circumstances (for emergencies)

Pay: $40.00-$56.00 per hour
