Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Junk Removal Specialist to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently removing unwanted debris, furniture, and other items from residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating trailers and trucks, with a strong focus on safety and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where physical strength and technical skills are valued.
Training can be provided if necessary.
Duties
- Safely operate trucks and trailers to load and unload junk materials
- Remove debris, furniture, appliances, and other items from designated locations
- Transport junk to disposal sites or recycling centers
- Assist with the disassembly of large items when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Interact professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs, providing excellent customer service
- Follow all safety protocols related to trailer operation and vehicle driving
Experience
- Prior experience with freight handling, commercial driving, or trailering is highly desirable, but not required
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures
This role is vital for maintaining efficient waste removal operations while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work that requires technical skills related to heavy equipment operation.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
