Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Independent Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate local streets, manage time effectively, and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your assigned vehicle.
Duties
- Transport passengers to their desired destinations in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and points of interest to provide optimal routes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs, including handling customer packages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Manage time efficiently to minimize wait times for passengers and maximize service availability.
- Operate two-way radios
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 driver's license.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Criminal Record Check required
- Clean Driver's Abstract required
- Applicants who live outside our area will not be chosen for an interview, knowledge of the local area is a must have
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00-$100.00 per day
