Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Renovation Contractor to lead and execute a variety of residential and commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, carpentry, and finishing work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. The Renovation Contractor will be responsible for managing project timelines, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with clients and team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute renovation projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively.
- Perform construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, flooring installation, tile laying, painting, caulking, masonry, and concrete finishing.
- Estimate project costs and materials using construction estimating techniques to ensure budget adherence.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and other fixtures with precision.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment and organize job sites efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or renovation projects with demonstrated skills in carpentry, or related trades.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized installation techniques such as tile laying or concrete finishing.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and building codes relevant to renovation work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
- Ability to estimate costs effectively and manage project timelines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
