Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CAD and CNC programming, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The CNC Machinist will ensure that all parts meet quality standards while maintaining efficient production workflows. Prior experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls is highly desirable. Duties
- Set up and operate CNC milling and lathes
- Write and modify CNC programs
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure proper calibration for optimal performance.
- Conduct quality control inspections using provided measuring tools.
- Assist with assembly processes and packaging of finished products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and ensure production deadlines are met.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes machines.
- Experience with Fanuc and siemens controls.
- Strong blueprint reading skills combined with mechanical knowledge for precise machining.
- Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for measurement accuracy.
- Understanding of machining processes such as CNC milling, lathe work, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime while ensuring safety standards are maintained.
