Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and energetic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. If you are passionate about helping people and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physiotherapist with following treatment protocols.
- Help with the implementation of individualized treatment plans and exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and perform regular inventory checks for supplies
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs
- Document patient progress and communicate it to the Physiotherapist
- Perform other administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, helping front desk as required
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Certified Physiotherapy Assistant or relevant certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to assist with patient movements and exercises
- Ability to work flexible hours and on weekends, if required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
